Laura & Libby, Archivists

Laura Palma-Blandford

Laura graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and was History Student of the Year.  She moved to Arizona in 2003 to attend Arizona State University.  After graduating with her Master in Public History in 2006, Laura worked as an Archival Technician for the Anasazi Heritage Center in Dolores, Colorado.  In 2007, Laura returned to Phoenix and after some time at Pueblo Grande Museum, joined the Arizona State Archives as an archivist.  She survived the move from the Capitol building to the Polly Rosenbaum Archives and History Building and Laura would be happy to discuss criminals, the territorial court system, and dead people in general. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

She holds her B.A. in History from Portland State University, and a joint Master of Archival Studies/Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of British Columbia.
